How does the personalisation work?

Enter 1, 2 or 3 initials at checkout. We use precision laser engraving to permanently etch your initials into the base of the glass. The result is a clean, deeply cut engraving that catches the light beautifully and lasts a lifetime.

How long does shipping take?

Each glass is engraved to order. We dispatch within 3 to 5 business days. Standard Australian shipping takes 2 to 4 business days. Express options are available at checkout. We recommend ordering 10 days before your occasion.

Does the glass come gift ready?

Yes. Every glass ships in our signature rigid kraft gift box with embossed black logo. You can also add a complimentary gift message card at checkout. No extra wrapping needed.

What is your returns policy?

Because each glass is personalised, we cannot accept returns for change of mind. However if your glass arrives damaged or with an engraving error on our part, we will replace it immediately at no cost.

Do you offer bulk or corporate gifting?

Yes. We work with businesses, event planners and wedding parties on bulk orders of 6 or more glasses. Volume discounts apply and we can accommodate individual engraving for every recipient. Contact hello@byfire.com.au to discuss your order.

Can I add multiple glasses to one order?

Yes. Each glass can be individually personalised with different initials in the same order. Simply add each glass to your cart and enter the desired initials for each one at checkout. Perfect for groomsmen sets or group gifting.

What makes Scotch by Fire glasses different?

Our glasses are handcrafted in Poland from premium glass with a substantial weighted base and classic lowball silhouette. Each one is precision laser-engraved individually, inspected by hand and packed in a rigid kraft gift box. Australian owned and operated.

Is the engraving permanent and food safe?

Yes. Laser engraving permanently etches the surface of the glass. The result is food safe, dishwasher safe and will not fade or wear over time.

Do you offer free shipping in Australia?

Standard shipping is $11 Australia wide. Orders of $99 or more ship free

What are the titanium scotch cubes?

Our titanium scotch chilling cubes are reusable metal cubes that chill your whisky without diluting it. Unlike ice, they do not melt and alter the flavour of your pour. They can be optionally engraved with your initials for an additional $10.

Started in a

Scotch by Fire began during COVID, when the idea for something worth making outlasted the year it started in. Sourcing glass from Poland got difficult for a while when supply routes were disrupted overseas. The brand relaunched this year.
